Truth Is A Rose Made Of Stone

A little poem I wrote a while back…

Truth Is A Rose Made Of Stone

All that Affection in the Soul lying still

Stirred by and mixing with the snowstorm that sweeps over the empty plains of the Heart

Blow through, sweet Zephyr

Blow into the dusty recesses of the Mind

But of what import is a Feeling if you can’t feel anymore?

Numbly, I crawl towards it

Coming so close to this Meaning

I’ve never been so close to the significance of truth

In the quivering Stillness, I see its Beauty

The Beauty of Truth lies in a Rose made of stone

  1. Beautiful. I especially love the last line, “The Beauty of Truth lies in a Rose made of stone”.
